Fountain House Gallery Presents “SMALL WORKS: $100 & Under”
On view: October 29 – December 23, 2015; Reception: October 29, 6-8 p.m.
NEW YORK CITY – Fountain House Gallery (formerly Fountain Gallery), located at 702 Ninth Avenue and representing artists living with mental illness, announces the upcoming show “Small Works: $100 & Under.” This exhibition will open with a Reception on October 29, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and will remain on view through December 23, 2015. “Small Works” is organized by Fountain House Gallery Assistant Nicole Sparacio.
Past Fountain House Gallery “Small Works” shows have been a great success with holiday shoppers and collectors. All of the small-scale works in the show can be purchased “off the wall” and fit conveniently in a tote bag or briefcase. Among the mediums represented are collage, mixed media, acrylic and watercolor painting, and photography.
This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, and by generous support from the Jarvis & Constance Doctorow Family Foundation, the Renate, Hans and Maria Hofmann Trust, and the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation. The “Small Works” exhibition sponsor is Artist & Craftsman.
