Join Fountain House and Fountain House Gallery & Studio for a free, in-person panel that explores key insights from thought leaders and organizations that promote the creative arts as a force for healing and societal change. Moderated by Rick Luftglass, executive director of the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund, this session examines the intersection of arts, health and well-being, and explores the crucial role that creative expression plays as a vehicle for recovery.
This panel is held on the sidelines of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly as part of UNGA Healing Arts Week 2025, which shines a light on the role of culture and creativity in advancing global health priorities. Healing Arts Week is a global campaign by the Jameel Arts & Health Lab at NYU in collaboration with the World Health Organization.
The panel is hosted in the Bellevue Medical Library on the 8th floor of Bellevue Hospital Center. Event staff will be stationed in the entrance area to direct guests to elevator banks.
