Christine hails from Paris, France, where she studied fashion design for eight years in subject areas such as draping, quality control, costume history, and art history and worked in haute couture and luxury ready-to-wear. She is largely self-taught as a visual artist and was inspired in childhood by her grandmother, a skilled seamstress who was also an artist. Christine utilizes mediums including watercolor, acrylic, and oil and favors mixing various techniques and materials in her pieces, a number of which depict nature themes. She fell in love with New York City during her first visit to the US in 2009.
